Jamaican authorities in Port Antonio are investigating a specific threat by an individual against UK nationals on Jamaican beaches. UK nationals in Jamaica are advised to take extra care while this is investigated.

Health section - in February 2017, the national health services in Mozambique reported an increase in cholera cases in the country; the most affected areas are Nampula province (Meconta and Monapo districts), Tete province, the capital Maputo and the neighbouring city of Matola.

Safety and security (Local travel) - according to Azerbaijani legislation, entering Nagorno Karabakh without the permission of the Azerbaijani authorities constitutes a criminal offence; there have been some recent reports that the government of Azerbaijan has started criminal proceedings against foreign citizens, including some British nationals, for visiting and working in Nagorno Karabakh.

Entry requirements section - a new online electronic visa system was introduced in January 2017; the electronic visas are valid for 30 days and are single entry; you won’t be able to extend an electronic visa once you have arrived in Azerbaijan.
