Travel Safety Round-Up: 13/1/2020

We’re only half-way through January and there are already far too many travel safety concerns for our liking. Diverted flight paths avoiding Iraq and Iran; a volcano in the Philippines, and another health scare in China… 2020 is keeping us on our toes!

As always, we’ve summarised all the latest updates sent out by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to help you plan your travels and keep up to date with events that may not have been in the news.

Information is the first step to making every journey safer, and appropriate travel insurance is more important than ever before – including cover for acts of terrorism*.
