On 20 June 2017, Belgian security forces helped prevent a suspected terrorist attack at Brussels Central Station; you should remain vigilant and follow the advice of the local security authorities; additional precautionary security measures are being implemented, including an increased security presence at train and metro stations and increased security measures are also likely at public events; you should check arrangements with event organisers.

There’s been an incident on the Champs-Elysees in central Paris on 19 June 2017; local authorities are asking the public to avoid the immediate area and respect the police cordon.
